Thought it might be a good idea to compile a master list of the current member discounts available (details and code) from our favorite venders out there. Most of these seem buried in affiliate threads and when I want to drop some cash, I don't want to have to go on an Easter egg hunt. When a code rolls over or changes, copy and paste the list and edit as needed.

Farinelli's:

Self Edge:
tobi:
Need Supply Co.:
Detour:
Denimbar:

(etc.)

So you are willing to update the first post every time a new coupon code comes out?

Not any more. Word of SF discounts trickled into the mainstream, designers got wind that the general public were abusing them and pretty much all SF affiliate discounts are now gone to my knowledge. MJK still gives discounts since he's independent and controls his own pricing and Farinelli's gives a discount if you're a tote holder. That's about it.

He did include Tobi and NeedSupply, which comes out with coupon codes every once in a while, kind of like Revolve or Urban Outfitters or JCrew.

So if the OP is willing to update the very first post every time a new code comes up, then he might get more contributions or else this will just be like the Sales Alert thread where people would ask, "any coupon or discount codes for ______?"

Ah, I stand corrected. Definitely would be a good deal to consolidate coupon codes in one thread when they occur.

Learn to read, StyleForum. The updated list should always be at (or somewhere near) the end of the thread.

Although I like to be someone who is able to contribute usefully, I don't really understand why I need to be the one to do it? Relying on one person to stay constantly updated on that which may change frequently seems like a recipe for failure.

Because you're the topic creator, and you're the only one (other than the mods) who can edit the first post? The list is much more manageable if it's always in the first post.

Because you're the one who asked for it........ Everyone else has been checking the sale thread and affiliate threads without complaint, if you want change you better be the bearer of it
