Cufflinks / studs for wedding suit?

I have a wedding (mine) coming up and I'm wearing a tailored two-piece navy suit with a light gold/champagne tie at the brides request. It may not match some style standards on here, but it makes her happy and does look very nice.

I'm wearing french cuffs to dress it up, and so need some cuff links. I don't own any, and would love some suggestions of what might color and style would work well. I was leaning toward plain silver cufflinks myself, but am not sure (and surprisingly, these seem hard to find!)

Similarly, I'm wondering if I should get shirt studs (do studs get worn with a regular suit as opposed to a tuxedo?), and don't know what they should be like either.

Stick with something simple and tasteful (ie. no novelty or "groom/best man" cufflinks)

Plain silver is sounds good.

If you're wearing a tie, you won't be able to see the shirt studs most of the time.

Don't really see the point of studs with a normal tie. +1 on something plain (silver) for the cufflinks.

Why not get some simple silver cuff links and get them monogramed. They will be a keepsake. I have the cufflinks my dad wore when he was married. They could end up being a nice personal item to pass along to a son.

I would really only recommend shirt studs with bow tie - shame to hide the studs. Mother of pearl cufflinks might look nice with the champagne tie

You cannot wear studs with a regular suit. I sell sterling silver double-sided cuff links. I'm personally fond of the classic knot cuff links:
