Thanks! A couple of years ago I had no worthwhile cufflinks, just a couple of cheap toggle pairs. Cuffthis inspired me, and I started hitting ebay. As you know, it takes some patience, but anybody can afford nice links.

Here's a modern pair (also from ebay), Brooks Brothers snappers. I think you can still get them from Brooks:

Here's a pair of vintage French cufflinks, enamel and silvertone mount. Contrary to recent rumours, the fleur de lys design does not signal Royalist leanings on my part.

^Those are 14k white gold front with a gold colored band, which I assume is base metal although I'm not sure.
