CT tan chukka boots - what to wear?

I just got these

during the recent sale and I am a bit perplexed what to wear them with. Linen pants? Light colored suit? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hmm, well the question really is what can't you wear with them. I would only not wear them with brown pants (cotton, wool, linen) that are in the exact same shade. Anything lighter or darker would work.

Being a fan of the Italian-style of color matching, I would also do a slim cut navy p/s, navy, or grey suit. If and when mine arrive, I do that.

I also bought them and agree with the above.

In the Fall they would look great with wheat or light brown cords.

BTW, has anyone tried antiquing these boots? If so, how did you do it.

Mine have some darker areas already, in a striation pattern, that look like CT did some antiquing already. Does anyone else have this on theirs?

I bought the same. They seem to go well with any shade of blue jeans.

Nuke: Might just be naturally that way. I've never encountered any suede that was perfect.

Fine looking boot--what not to wear with it? Many find tan to be more informal, but what's wrong with being a little edgy?

They would work well with jeans, as well as grey or brown trousers.
