Crunchy/Stiff eBay Knit Ties: Reparable?

Hello, thanks for reading.

Got a few knit ties from an eBay seller. Most are okay, but two of them feel oddly, uh, "crunchy." Sort of like when you forget that you've put some towels through the washing machine for a day or two and come back to find them dry and stiff.

Is there any way of salvaging the two ties? Any gentle way of coaxing them back to life? They're not stained, dirty or discolored...no odor, either.

Thanks very much.

I have an awful lot of knit ties and when brand-new some have a bit of a crispness to them that loosens up after a few wearings. I'd have to chalk it up to the silk being dry. With humidity and handling it wears off, but I've never even considered it a problem. If your ties aren't silk that could be another matter entirely.
