Crotch semi-bust after only 4 months

Ugh... My Naked and Famous (the 21oz or so ones) now have a hole in the crotch area only after 4 months of wear. It's not a complete bust, only one set of threads is remaining, if you know what I mean, I can still see through.

This kinda blows for me... I didn't wear them hard, just every other day.

My quarterly rant.

Patch them. Did you rinse or wash them yet?

Well, denim is thick, really thick but you could see fading after three months. Thing is, it's so damn thick that the fades look baby blue rather than what I'm used to. I washed them, most of the fades stayed baby blue except for the busted area where only the white thread remains. My only ***** about these is that one of the fly rivets just disintegrated after about 10 wears. You can't see that it's missing so it didn't bother me that much.

Well, I carry N&F in my store and wore the hell out of their 21oz jean throughout the Fall - including regular bicycling. Compared to other brands like Nudie & Earnest Sewn, I find that their jeans are much stronger. I've had no holes, blowouts, or problems to speak of. I think that your jeans may be defective. They are definitely built to last longer that that. I would contact them and see about getting a new pair. Brandon is the founder of N&F. You can reach them here: http://www.nakedandfamousdenim.com/?page_id=49 Good luck!

Does anyone have a link to DIY crotch repair thread or website? I'm having a similar issue with my APC's. They're not at the blowout phase, but that will be the first area to go.

^ Can you elaborate on what the dry cleaner did?
