First I've heard about winning anything, but sounds great! I was admiring the Marcoliani socks - great style.

Norcal, congrats on the hat. You should post a pic when you get it. I was not at Asprey on Saturday; holding out as much as possible for the PS sale.

Too bad I peeled off from the group at the Mansion. It sounds like a good time was had by all. The ever patient wife awaited downtown--we went to the Warehouse sale, which was a bust.

Have orange trousers replaced the previous SF code?

I wore my Zegna tan twills to the theater yesterday. I thought they were the official trouser?

Sounds like a fellow artisan beer fan.

    I prefer the Maredsous 10.

I think those are definitely the official trousers, and come to think of it, I wore my pair on Saturday. They're still available from VCH, but they are not easily identifiable.

    GS,

Next time on the N, you must go, to Tradboro plaza.

There, I can meet you, wearing a Warzone t-shirt, under OCBD.

Brouwerij Huyghe's winter brew, Delerium Noel, is even better. The cartoon elephants wear cute little Santa hats. The price, though, is ridiculous at $9 a bottle when one can have Trois Pistoles and McChouffe for $7 or $8. Though I suppose while the relative difference is substantial, beer in general being so much cheaper than wine, that the absolute difference is but a drop in the bucket.

Well, I guess I'm not a boldface name [harrumph], but I was there too with y'all at the close and in the bar. A scarily well-tailored bunch. I am now speedreading my newly autographed copy of Manton's THE SUIT to get up to standard.

For the record, Tom, as he staggered about, was wearing a sweater of a wonderful shade of green, and a very nicely tooled belt.

Don't worry Mack, even I was sober enough to remember that you were there. Sheesh, norcal is such a lush[IMG] J Crew and Baltazar respectively, by the way.

Lunch was a real pleasure, as was the rest of the afternoon. Things get hazy after that, but to a man the gents I met at the CSE were the paragons of virtue and wit that I have come to expect from forum members other than [email protected] Thanks again to Andy, Alex, et al for putting it together.

    My liver hates you all.
    Tom
