I bought a Crookhorn belt for $14 at Marshall's. It is the tan "Conte Box" belt on the Dann online website. Size was too long, but I cut it down and attached it to an old Nautica belt buckle where all you have to do is stick the end in the buckle and screw down 2 screws to hold it in. Here is the thing: I took apart the piece of the belt that I had cut off. Basically, it looks like this belt is two pieces of paper-thin leather sewed and glued onto a piece of molded rubber. What a piece of junk.. Are all belts made like this? I am so disappointed, because the consensus here seemed to be that Crookorn was one of the better belts.
