Indeed. I’m just exploring options. That’s all. I apologize if I muddied the GMTO waters a bit. Wasn’t my intention at all. Personally, a hand-grade tapered double leather sole with toe plates in a pair of whiskey Galway boots sounds like an absolute dream to me.

Very nice! I finally received mine this week. I love the Cordovan look they seem to look more shinny then my Carmina whole cut cordovan! Looks great with the Chino!

Not sure about the process here but there seems to be some interest in the PTBs. I started a new tab on the sheet for the Marlow PTB. I believe I selected all the details from the original RL model.

After receiving the last run of Galway's I started up a conversation with Basil about the possibility of a shell Chelsea GMTO, and after some initial hesitancy on their part they finally gave me the thumbs up this morning. I do not have the exact specs completely locked in so I want to have a conversation here before locking them in and adding the makeup to the doc. Here is where we are at:

Model - Chelsea 5
Last - 335
Width - E
Color - Color 8 or Dark Brown - there may be an extended wait for dark brown
Welt - Storm
Sole - Ridgeway
Edge Finish - Antique
Pull Tab - Single or Double
