I saw that... can anyone answer if the intention for the welt color on these is the contrasting traditional welt shown above, or the matching dark welt depicted in the other picture on the MTO tab (not shown)?

Edit: including Zargoz' sweet make-up of these for reference: View attachment 1400175

i‘d be interested to hear that as well. I really like the looks of this welt better than natural or contrast welt shown above in the MTO spreadsheet

I swear I've seen color 8 Harlech being sold somewhere but cannot remember where. Any help with that would Ben greatly appreciated.

Those Dundee's are sweet and yes I like the darker Antique Welt best.

Spreadsheet link please..

Chip, you may be thinking about the BB Peal boot on 240 last. I know some folks on SF think fit is similar to Harlech. I've come across a few posted on B&S as well as on ebay. Here's one in US 9.5D (not my listing)

One more, a lot cheaper if it's still available

I agree - I also like the darker welt the best. The photo in the post upthread is very nice.

See the link in the post that I've quoted below for the spreadsheet. There are various pages/fields in the spreadsheet for different potential orders/styles, so you put your details down for the style or styles that you want.

Looking to add my name but have a quick couple questions since this will be my first GTMO. regarding this brown Lindrick order, it basically looks like the exact specs from the Ralph Lauren CJ Lindrick down to the all eyelets and double leather sole? Am I understanding that right? Lastly, the specs on the right that are listed will be the details built into the boots? Just wondering as I see some members asking for sole or eyelet changes

As I understand it, the specs listed are what is proposed for this GMTO by the intrepid originator. And the comment block on the sign-up sheet allow those interested in joining the GMTO to propose their ideas to the group for consideration before the order is submitted. I assume that those who have not added comments prefer the specs listed...

My guess is that once we have the requisite amount of people interested to qualify for a GMTO run (12+), we then coordinate to see who still wants to order the boot and come to group consensus on the final order specs for the order; the run will consist of the same spec boot for all, in the different sizes requested.

However, this is also my first GMTO with C&J, so if I am off somewhere, someone please correct me...

Hello folks,

I am looking to organize a GMTO with the Crockett & Jones Store at 69 Jermyn Street, London. The order requires a minimum of 6 pairs to be made of the same shoe, obviously different sizes. I am looking for a total of 12 slots (for an additional discount in price), or more - However, they will only accept multiples of 6.

I have inquired about the following:
Crockett & Jones Galway (U-Tip Boots) in Dark Brown Shell Cordovan.

Please read the following specifications carefully:
Model: Galway 2 (Based Off this Model)
Upper: Dark Brown Shell Cordovan
Last: 325
Width: Standard UK E (US D)
Eyelets: 4 pairs of eyelets & 4 pairs of speed hooks
Edging: Antique Brown
Sole: Double Leather
Welt: Storm Welt

Please refer to the pictures below for a better idea of what the boots will look like. Except these will have four sets of eyelets, like the Galway 2, as opposed to the five sets of eyelets from the pictured Gianni model made for Ralph Lauren.

Cost for one pair:
£1100 (~£916.63 after excluding 16.67% VAT, as of today around $1156.70 for the US folks) plus £30 shipping.

Cost for a group of 6:
£975 (~£812.47 after excluding 16.67% VAT, as of today around $1025.45 for the US folks) plus £30 shipping.

Cost for a group of 12:
£850 (~£708.31 after excluding 16.67% VAT, as of today around $893.98 for the US Folks) plus £30 shipping.

This order will be placed through the Crockett & Jones Store at 69 Jermyn Street, London. So please feel free to contact the store via phone or email, provided below, should you have any questions about price and other details I may have left out. I look forward to filling in the spots. If you’re interested, please enter your SF username, size, and any comments/suggestions in the following link: C&J Galway 2 Dark Brown Cordovan Sign-Up Spreadsheet.

Anyone looking for a whiskey Lindrick (size 8E) hit me up. Looking to sell my once worn pair at a good discount. Plus you don’t have to wait for a MTO.

I was actually trying to order the Lindrick in dark brown cordovan, but this post is very enticing! Do you mind providing me with a few more pictures?

Sorry bud, they sold yesterday. Heading to the post office in a few to send them to their new home.
