    we have the same shoe size and I take a UK11. i think the consensus is to size down one

    good to know.

    i'm in. would prefer all eyelets but speedhooks wouldnt be a deal breaker.

    I am definitely in. As for speed hooks, I would be a 'yay', but definitely not a deal breaker.

    Boots will be sent via Parcelforce. Good news at it means less chance of having to pay customs (apparently).

    Still waiting for a photo example of a whiskey boot makeup - I will post it here as soon as I receive it.

    So what did you guys decide for the final make up? Whiskey, double leather soles and speedhooks or not. What about the storm-welt.

    Besides AsianAfro is anybody else interested in pursuing dark brown cordovan with ridgeway soles?

    Can we specify the color/finish of the welt/edging? If so, what is everyone's preference? I think we're going for a 360-storm welt, right? Would an Alden-like antique edging work? Thoughts?

    I'd prefer an antique edge trim but it's not a deal killer.

    I believe we're all in agreement of the 360 storm welt. Antique edge trim with stacked heel is always a good one.

    I am thinking about joining Whiskey crowd too now. This could be all around great make up. Hey guys how many people do we have? Since we are paying in advance maybe C&J could give a free lasted shoe trees for this I now they make lasted 341 shoe trees. Who feels confident in their negotiation skills to give it a try:D
