The shop at 69 Jermyn St. is putting together a special run now; I recommend you reach out to Basil there if you’re interested in joining the order...
Yeah. Personally for me, I’d go Whisky Lindrick first and Whisky Skye second. Not a fan of the high-boot shaft from the Islay, but that’s my personal preference.
Looks like the Skye is a lot closer to go into production at 69 Jermyn Street, so looks like I will be going with Skye first ?.
Hopefully we can get four more people for the Whisky Lindricks and I’ll be purchasing those also!
Nice! Yeah, I don’t think I want to get stuck in limbo waiting for another 5 more people. I am ready to get a pair now! HahaJust got a call from them and they said they're at 7 folks right now for the Whiskey Skye GMTO and will probably move forward with it since it's unlikely that 12 will be reached, and also waiting for more heads could result in dropouts. With 6, the excl VAT pricing is at £833.34 whereas 12 would be £708.34. For anyone interested in the Skye, contact them before the order gets placed. I also asked about interest in a Whiskey Islay GMTO, and there was only about 2 other people interested since those would be about £100 more due to the taller boot requiring more material.

The only details provided in email is Skye 2 in Whiskey cordovan, 335 last, Double Dainite sole and heels. Regarding eyelets and speed hooks, I'll assume it's the same as here: https://www.crockettandjones.com/skye-2-darkbrown-cordovan/What is the exact specifikation of the Whisky Skye GMTO of Jermyn Street? Thinking of soles and speed hooks or eyelets. Thanks
You buried the lead - two people interested in a whiskey cordovan Islay means only 4-10 more to go; count me in!!Just got a call from them and they said they're at 7 folks right now for the Whiskey Skye GMTO and will probably move forward with it since it's unlikely that 12 will be reached, and also waiting for more heads could result in dropouts. The 12 order price is very attractive....Just got a call from them and they said they're at 7 folks right now for the Whiskey Skye GMTO and will probably move forward with it since it's unlikely that 12 will be reached, and also waiting for more heads could result in dropouts. For the Whisky Skye boots, they’re going to place a 6-pair order. Unfortunately, they were not able to reach the 12-pair mark, so rather than taking a risk of getting stuck in limbo (people losing interest, prolonging the order for months) they are going to make a 6-pair order.Dear all how far are we from the 12 order?
