1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Yep! In the MTO situation you have time to think about it. The other way there is no time to think. You just do!

Sure thing, they were £325 (ex. VAT) shipped to the US. I ordered them via Robert Old.

I'm surprised people are still dicking around and aren't committing, especially with only 6 slots.
I thought there were some people that got shut out of the original order.
There was some EG boot GMTO for skoak that filled up in hours recently. I find the whiskey harlech much more appealing.

Whaaaat?? You're not a fan of our Zug boot??

I am surprised as well. I figured the 6 slots would go in like 10 minutes

Ah, I thought that it was cordovan. Still a magnificent boot for sure, but I've been in a shell phase lately.

I have been contacted by more than 5 interested individuals, but I am a bit surprised that there has not been more "I don't care about the details, GIMME MY WHISKEY HARLECH". At least, that's how I would be.

Since there was already a run, there is less of a novelty factor this time. People here like to be wowed with exotic things they have never before seen. Plus the ridiculous low price of the last run spoils expectation. No doubt everybody in is jazzed but thinking "shoulda got in last time". Ah, human nature. Now if you suddenly had C&J tell you no-can-do anymore, the crying would be unbearable. And hey, I'm not in but, if I were, I'm sure I'd be this way too. Or maybe I've just shown that I'm a dick and think everybody else thinks like I do... Oh well...

And even better costumer service. They have been great throughout the entire process.

I wish it was for cordovan.. but as budapest said, it's the price for the stock brown waxed calf. I believe the picture is also the calf version.

Did anyone order shoe trees and flush metal toe taps on the last go around? Wondering what the total came out for shoes + shipping + lime shoe trees + flush metal toe taps.

I would advise against lining the boot in anything but a natural lining.

Adding a colored lining is adding another layer making it harder for the leather to breathe and shortening its lifespan.

When your feet sweat throughout they day, which they will alot because thats what they dol, the boots will get damaged by the sweat because it will take longer for them to dry. The moisture will harm the leather.

With a natural lining it breathes better and hence lasts longer because the boots can dry better after having your sweat fill them during that day's wearing.

Why would the color of the lining matter?

I ordered an EG boot with red lining but EG said to use standard as it would last much longer. Not sure the reason why but they did say to change it.

Also same from Phillip at St. C
