The shell appears dry as a bone and the welts are hammered. Normally I use AE neutral on the welts. Works so so. Renovator on the uppers.
I do not want to darken while adding moisture to the uppers. Same thing on welt, I've used AE Chilli welt on another pair and felt it darkened them too much and pitched the chilli.
What do you guys use?. Thanks

I used bick 4 on my dry Lindricks recently and didn’t notice any appreciable darkening of the boots.

    Exactly !!!
We both missed this famous Zug Snowdon GMTO a few years ago, but we will be able to avenge, now.
We are ten on the list, if only I could find a way to write down my name on it...

As for the shell Chip, I use bick4 on all of my shell and have not noticed any darkening due to bick4. On a pair of Meermin I have that were very dry, I just applied bick4 waited until the next day and buffed. Did that two more times, now the Meermin’s are right as rain.

I'd do it for you, but for some reason it's in read-only mode for me too.

The sheet was changed to view only mode but has been changed back to edit. Thats the risk of leaving these sheets open to the public. Should be good to go :fonz:

Rodolphe, I added you to the Zug list.

To echo others, Bick4 is definitely worth a try. It is the only things ill use on my light colored shell since its very gentle but also very effective. CJ shell tends to have more dry spots than other makers and my solution is to add Bick4 and let it sit for a few hours or overnight then brush, deerbone, and brush/buff again.

As for the welt, anything that is not black gets AE chili but for lighter welts I will apply then wipe with a paper towel within a few seconds.
