I like danite a lot, but I agree with 1911 on the improved comfort. Plus, it's slightly more aesthetically pleasing.

Totally agree. In my experience, Danite as with rubber soles in general, never really give you that 'mold to your feet' level of comfort you get with leather and double leather soles. That said, I do very much enjoy the robust nature and grip of danite which is useful in my environment.

I see that we have 5 for Whiskey Marlow. Hope it will start getting more traction soon.

Since there is a discussion on last. I would like to jump in and ask if there is a reason for the Marlow to be in 314 last instead of the "improved" 376 last? Just curious to know.

Im sure no reason in particular except to keep it true to the original spec.

I've added my name to the new whiskey cordovan Galway list. I guess the old list died. I'm surprised there is not more interest in this make-up. Perhaps everyone already owns a pair.

Would anyone be able to direct me to the "lists" that are being referenced here?

Galways have been seeing more wear than my Lindricks in recent days but may have something to do with the weather.

Has there ever been a whiskey chukka GMTO order from this forum? The recent post in the main CJ thread has me desperately wanting a pair.

Have there been any C&J MTO using Kudu ? There is a picture posted on anther thread by @nishant of Enzo Bonafe boots in Charcoal Kudu. I think the leather looks breathtaking. I have no experience with the other brand but would be excited to have this leather on a Coniston boot. The image is below.... again, credit and thanks goto @nishant.
