How would you compare C&J 240 last for Peal & Co to 325? The Peal and Co shell cordovan cap toe boots were a little short in 8D, while 8.5D was wide but fit fine with insoles. I ended up going with an 8.5D. I am considering getting on the Lindrick list.

Also, is the price around £700 including VAT?

I have the US 10D on the brown cordovan wingtip from BB which is on 240 last. And wear UK 9.5D on lindrick. To me both fit almost similar but YMMV

Thank you. That's interesting, only 0.5 drop from the US size. Would you say the toebox on the 325 is wider/more voluminous?

Some people go half size down on BB shoes.

If I really have to compare, I'd say that it may be slightly more wider on 325 last but it feel the same on both to me

Yep, i do that. I should have mentioned this- My brannock size in closer to 10.5D and I went half size down on 240 last from BB.

It is my understanding that a dark brown Wingtip Marlow is a stock item thru Ralph Lauren, which would explain why there isn't a gmto for it.. At least I think. Then again I could be wrong.
Most gmtos thru C&J have been variations or a discontinued item

Based on the spreadsheet that is correct. These have been done a few times recently. It has also been much slower moving since the website changed over. I'm not sure any GMTOs have been done here since the change.

Not as long a shot as you might think! I actually have a pair of 7.5UK that I literally just finished brushing after a little Saphir Renovateur, and have been mulling over whether to keep them or not. The fit just isn't quite as good as I had hoped for.

I am not 100% decided on whether I am selling them, but you would be the first person to whom I would offer them when/if I do.
