Still have yet to wear mine but it's still hovering around 80 degrees here. Hoping to break them out soon.

Have you treated them with anything other than brushing? Your boots look a tad darker than mine, but also seem to have more "depth" to the color, for lack of a better term.

Get to it! I hear you though since I waiting until the first proper day in the low 70's to break them out. The cherry was the downpour I was caught in that night in the new boots. I haven't treated these at all yet but I'm gonna do a very light coat of cordovan cream followed by some defender soon. They definitely loook darker in these photos than real life but it's certianly a rich color. The vamp on the left boot gets rather dark in certain light but it really varies which is part of shells appeal, really.

^ fantastic boot...

Thanks Chip!

I would have preferred double leather sole with storm welt.
From the functionality point of view I am more fun of Ridgeway than Dainite, so I can consider Ridgeway.
but Ridgeway to me is really bad weather configuration, so it does not match up as a first candidate with whisky shell.

Nice shoes Mike!

If I remember correctly, you are a C width (so am I). Are these UK E width? How did you size these compared to Alden Barrie, Plaza, and AE 65?

Thanks

Love them . . . still waiting to break mine out (along with my whiskey shell Galway 2 boots). It dipped down into the low 70s/high 60s for a couple days a week or two ago, but then it's back up to low 80s for at least the next week/10 days. Hoping for fall weather soon.

I got an E width. I would crudely say that these 9.5Es are equivalent to a 10D Barrie. A tolerable fit for me...

Yeah, I am with you. It's been hot out and making it hard for me to reach for a pair of shell boots...

IM considering off loading my Warlow 2.0 (2nd run with JR soles and antique welt) in 10.5 UK. I'm not in a rush but will likely not be wearing them much in the future. They have only 3-4 light wears on them and are in amazing shape overall. I'll hear any offers but haven't set a price yet. Thanks guys
