I'm sure it's been answered in the 500 pages of this thread but I didn't see it in the last 15 or so....
How does C&J compare to Alden sizing-wise? I'm a 9.5D Barrie, 9D Trubalance, and all over the place in AE.

I see we now have 12 for the brown PTB (Dainite soles)!!!

hello.
It depends of the C&J last. There are many.
325 : You should go 0,5 down.
341 : One full down
365 : One full down
Personnaly, I take the same size in barrie (E or D) and 325. The 325 is more snug but 0,5 down is définitly too much tight.
But it is not the experience that majority gives.
I would say that 325 7.5UK E feels like Barrie 8US D.
I would say 325 feels pretty similar to barrie at a half size down with the exception that the toe is more tapered and feels a tad narrow. I wear 11D barrie and 10.5 UK (=11.5 US) in 325 and I definitely could not size down to my us barrie equivalent (10uk). Turbulence is huge and I could probably go down from barrie as you did but its really not very help when sizing other shoes LOL The most useful advice i could give based on experience and what I've seen here is take whatever your most common size is, generally tts, and minus 1 to get your CJ UK size.
By any chance, are you a 10D or more narrow when you wear something tts?
