Nevertheless, the Warlow will arrive with plenty of time left for us to enjoy them as the dusk of Summer begins to set and the dawn of Autumn arrises.

Whiskey Shell Cordovan is such a fabulous shade to pair with those woolen flannels and cords.  Especially the gray and brown variety.

Totally agreethe whiskey will be epic.

pls count me in if you are going to have a new GMTO of lindrick boot.

Great. Its pretty soon after the last few so it will probably take a bit of time for interest to peak. Ill keep you updated with any developments.

If it's in whiskey shell I might be game – the dark brown just turned out so wonderfully well. The next batch of whiskey shell probably won't be available before 2017, but then again I'm not in a rush

I know its borderline blasphemous but I'm not too interested in whiskey shell (right now, anyway). Although, I think it would look brilliant given how awesome the whiskey Skyes turned out but Im more interested in a darker color.

Any idea if a shell Lindrick could be done with a bellows/gusseted tongue? Depending on when it goes through (and if that's a possibility) I would be interested in a burgundy shell (color 8) Lindrick.
I have no idea if that can be done, to be honest. Im sure its been requested for other similar models but I don't know for sure. Can I ask why you would prefer a gusseted tongue, out of curiosity. As far as the color goes, I'm not against color 8 as I really enjoy the way CJ finishes their cordovan in general. In my mind, the standard Lindrick is perfect but I'm open to modifying the eyelets and sole.

Right now its about gauging interest so ill probably bring it up again as time goes on.

Thanks for the feedback!

I generally have issues, I think due due to my weird instep, of tongues going off center. A bellows or gusset prevents that. For me, at the very least I'd want a tongue stay, just for peace of mind!

I already have a pair of skyes in whiskey, so I'm not very interested in another whiskey pair. Color 8 would nicely fit a hole in my rotation as I don't have a burgundy boot. As for other options I'd prefer no-speedhooks, and for sole I'd prefer double leather as I don't tend to wear my shell in inclement weather. But I'd be okay with dainite as well.

If you guys were still wondering about the next steps after the a GMTO order has been placed. After the order was sent to the factory, we received official hard copies of the receipt (printed from the cash register) and a friendly letter by air mail for the Lindrick GMTO; this is a nice touch.

Now that the Lindrick GMTO is finally finalized (very grateful for the energy, enthusiasm, and cooperation of both the styleforum and reddit communities that made this GMTO so smooth), I have an itching for one more before my freeze.

Pernilla (my primary contact for the Lindrick GMTO) confirmed that there is Navy Shell availability and would be willing to do this for the Camberley. Gauging interest.

I proposed:

Width: Standard E (US D)

if you start a navy shell boot GMTO with minimal broguing, I'm in. 5 eyelets/4 speed hooks and a plain toe/captoe would also be preferable.

I'd be up for Navy Shell Harlech...with antiqued edge and dainite sole

The cap toe may be removed, but that will cost extra as it is considered a "pattern change". Let me know if you are interested. Also interested.

I am good with the captoe but am also fantasizing whether it would be even nicer with (i) medallion and (ii) without the captoe. Just a humble suggestion for consideration of fellow interested gents.

Grateful to BurntPockets and the SF community in general for making all these possible.

BurntPockets, I am good to go on these! Sign me up! The captoe does worry me since they don't always go with my feet. Also would need help on sizing. Medallion I am ambivalent on. But I like the idea of these.

I like this idea too. I think navy shell would be awesome so either BurntPockets's Camberly or a boot. I would prefer a plain no-cap toe and broguing can be left to others same with eyelets and speedhooks.
