1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

The bank rates will be slightly higher than the mid-market rates (which we find on Google), but not by all that much. Lauren's email indicated that the process of charging our cards might take an entire week, but it looks like it will be sub-700, which is a great deal for these shoes. Thanks so much for organising!

    Navy Shell Dundee MTO update:

Folks, a lot of people have dropped out after initially expressing interest. We're right now at 8 people and from what I understand two more might drop out unless we get to 12 in a week or so. Given that, I think it's safe to say this MTO has fizzled out, unless something changes quite dramatically in the next few days. Thanks for the interest, peeps. I'll keep the spreadsheet up in case there's renewed interest at a later time.

Does C&J have a Vibram sole as an MTO option?

Woo! I was charged today: $674 USD. Killer deal. She said that she is still processing some cards, but hopefully we'll have the whiskey marlow PTB order off to the factory by the end of week.

Lauren tried to charge my card on Friday, but my bank flagged it as fraud so it was declined. I got everything sorted out, but I think Lauren is ooo until Monday.

    I think I am the 12th person! :D

Anyone interested in a Conistion MTO?

Also, what is the best way to order a stock model from the UK?

You can email Lauren Taylor directly. I ordered a pair of Conistons from her about a month ago.

Only one detail to be ironed out for those interested, Lauren said no wheeling is possible for a double leather sole. Not sure if this would even be noticeable, doesnt seem to make a difference in the below photo of the Warlow GMTO, but I can inquire further re single leather sole or dainite if wheeling can be done and the consensus is that people want it.

Thanks for starting this. I don't really feel strongly one way or another about wheeling. Sole type would trump this for me for sure. Double leather > single leather > > dainite
