Great work! However, I also think the ranking system is a bit too hard to make work and that there are way too many options. I suggest to just make it a tick-off list asking "would you join the 2nd GMTO if it has:" and then list options like leather, Dainite etc. Asking preferences for the shape and colour of the laces is a bit too detailed IMHO, and I guess it will make the reading of the poll bloody hard, haha.

I actually really like Dainite. I'm glad I have double leather on my whiskey Harlechs, but I do appreciate Dainite in other situations.

Again, one mans meat is another mans poison.

I cant wait for this to get moving. Hopefully we can firm up on the specs and get this ordered ASAP. I would be willing to assist as time permits if you need a hand.

Very keen for the Whiskey Harlech. Definitely voting for double leather. Hoping for a miracle so I can get in on the 1st run...one can dream.

    Hi guys,

I've taken a few quick screenshots to show how the poll is going so far and it's still pretty early so anything can change [IMG]. To clarify, this is just a suggestive poll, I'm not saying this is exactly how we should do this.

The link for members of this GMTO who'd like to put in their desires: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/BKXHZYC

Eyelet/Speedhook options (4 being most desired option): So far 4+4 Blind/Speedhooks (as per original Harlech) is winning with all blind coming in a close second.

    Eyelet colour:

Sole (10 being most desired): For the moment, Brown dainite with leather midsole and Black Medway with leather midsole are tied (I don't know if medway is on offer however), and Double leather coming a very close second.

    This is a joke

Chocol8max isnt even in the first 24 let alone the first 12. Why is he voting? Why are all these other irrelevant people voting?

We will conduct this in the open via group discussion

Speaking of irrelevant people, is this thing open to new participants or is the available shell spoken for?

Chill out Man. He's just trying to get consensus for round 2.

I agree with you that round 1 should stay with the details you guys agreed, it's gonna waste too much time to vote for all the details again.

Let's wait for Tommy's update and hopefully round 1 could be set asap.

No problem, Roger. I will add you to the list first. Will let you know if some of the people above you pass their chance.
