    Hey Guys,

Sorry for the late reply as I was quite busy in the past few day. As @Papa Doble mentioned earlier, C&J is willing to do 2 runs (12 /run) of Whiskey Shell Harlech GMTO. Since there are quite a lot of people interested in this GMTO, the first run is certainly not a problem. As I am quite late to this Harlech GMTO, I probably won't be on the first run and I think it's better for someone (No.1-12 in the list below) who will definitely be on the first run to coordinate this GMTO. Once the first run is secured, I will be the one to coordinate the 2nd run of this GMTO.

For who is willing to take over this GMTO, please send me a PM to Papa Doble with your email address saying so and Papa Doble will(1) reply with Lauren's email address, (2) let Lauren know she should be hearing from you, and (3) reply here stating the new official organizer for this GMTO. I think the main task is to get a list of 12 from the below list, starting at the top of the list (madridista was the first to express interest, and so on).

Where the numbers are sitting right now, it looks like there might be a need for a 3rd run. Are C&J willing and able to do this or is the assumption that some people will drop out of this GMTO?

Hey Tommy, looks like you are one of the first 12, are you willing to coordinate the first run? Thanks!

FYI there are names missing from this list and need to be added I in the right spot... i.e me. Not that it looks like it will make any difference as doesn't sound like CnJ have enough shell whiskey for anymore than 12 boots.

Sure, I'll do it. Will PM Papa Doble and get the ball rolling.

Anyone if is interested in a navy/brown shell Gianni boot if C&J doesn't have enough leather for another run of whiskey harlech?

Even if C&J cannot fulfil the demand for Whiskey shell, I'm down for a MTO Harlech in almost any colour of shell cordovan provided it has a dainite sole. (Except for the BB Harlech which isn't available in my size [IMG]).

I'm fine with joining the second run instead. But we haven't discussed the details yet? But actually I think I can live with both single and double leather as well as Dainite, but some might feel differently. But I will say, though, that I think the double leather sole is going brilliantly with the shell. At least it does on my beloved brown Harlechs :slayer:

I thought the second run is the exact replica of the first?

    +1 vote for double leather

If you want a rubber sole, just add a topy. When it wears out, you can just replace the topy rather than having to resole the whole shoe

I dont see the advantage of dainite

What is involved in coordinating? Just gathering the email addresses of the 12 for lauren?

I was just hoping for dainite for better wet weather performance, but I'm not opposed double leather.

But i don't even think the specs was discussed for the first run?

Maybe it would make sense to split the two runs into a leather and a Dainite run then…?

    @S K M I've linked Papa's original post with the spec list.

If you want wet weather grip, why not get a topy?

Dainite is just the worst option IMO; when it wears out, you have to get it resoled. You cannot get topy to affix to the rubber like you can to leather sole.

But if enough people wanted each of the two choices, split runs would be a good idea
