I'm interested. Do prefer Dainite sole; saw that a few others do also. Any way that can be accomodated?

89826, I am pretty certain on my dislike towards the Danite sole. They just are not comfy for me. I am sure that a similar makeup may be possible someday in the future. I also believe that I am not going to be wearing Whiskey Shell in the rain due to the damage the rain does to Whiskey. If this was a deal breaker for everyone, then I would have to compromise, but it seems that it is not the case.

I apologize sir, please let me know if you are still interested. It is possible to get them resoled by B. Nelson with a Danite and it is possible C&J may allow you to change the sole whenever you get them recrafted.

    Just my thoughts!

    I vote leather sole.
This is going to make me violate my wingtip embargo but it finally scratches that whiskey wingtip boot itch I've had for a long time.

    Zippy,

Good call! The Whiskey Wingtip is an awesome combination. Not to mention Whiskey Wingtip Wednesday is fun to say!

Awesome news for the shell folk.

Doble, you interested in a Gianni in dark grain? Not shell but a badass winter boot...

Thanks for the input. I have research to do.

Again, back on topic --- I prefer C&J's finishing of shell to Alden's. I'm probably in the minority. I wish the GMTO for the whiskey Skye made sense for me. It will be an incredible boot!

For me, I'd be happy with the stock brown shell models. Not much desire to MTO for me. Unless it's something like changing to all eyelets or small details like that.
