Bmulford is spot on. I think Barneys is your only potential option.

I tried on some C&J at Barneys just to know my size. Unfortunately not even Shyam at Plal knew what sizing conversion was being used, is there a way to tell for sure the standard UK size of a shoe?

Thanks for the help guys. Unfortunately I just called Barney's and they don't have any in stock to try on. I am probably going to order them online but am curious as to what my size would be. I wear an 11.5c in AE Park Avenues. I'm guessing an 11E would be my UK size.

I wear 11.5 in most US brands and ordered this shoe in 10.5E -- fit is great if not a touch big...

That's probably right. On most C&J lasts, it's one size down from your "normal" size. So if you are a 9.5 US, you're an 8.5 UK. An E width UK typically corresponds to a D width US. (Whatever you do, don't get a G width unless your feet resemble pie pans. G width is close to EEE.) The Park Avenue is a special case. As the last is so long and narrow, the proper fit is usually a half size down and one width up. If, for example, you are "normally" a 9.5C, as 9D would be about right in Park Avenues.

All this is to say that you're probably really a D width UK but, as that's hard to find, an E will probably work OK. If they're uncomfortably wide, you can snug them up a bit with some inexpensive insoles. That usually works for me.
