Some Brooks Brothers "Peal" shoes are C&J. I think the ones with a single row of nails in the heel.

I was at the T&A store today. They do have a very large selection. The Handgrade are $650 and the basics are $495.

And apparently the double row of slugs means Alfred Sargent. There's also a Brooks sale (25%) on most shoes including Peal till 6/29.

I read on this board that the Darlton bluchers at Polo are made by C and J. They come in both black calf and brown cordovan. There is actually a new pair on e-bay now...

The American Brooks shoes are Alden, the "Peal" english shoes are C&J if they have one row of slugs in the heel and Alfred Sargent if they have two rows.
