That's cheaper than I got from RL straight a few years back.

Yeah, I'm pretty happy with the price, considering they are BNIB and free shipping too! Hoping they fit just right, I've bought and sold a few pairs already in the Marlow line and haven't nailed it yet. In my experience, the Wingtip fits slightly looser than the PTB. If this is true then I should be golden.

yeah that should work imo (as long as you dont have a very low instep area)

ive also seen the venerable mdubs rocking the flat laces. i have a couple pairs of flat laces from the alden leathersoul plaza wingtips that have blind eyeleys. it proved too time consuming to try and keep the flat laces flat so i swapped them with some round laces. the metal eyelets are a natural fit with metal eyelets. again, i really dig the look.

p.s. what is the temp in your locale for you to be wearing lindricks?
