The actual "private" sale is going on now. The public private sale is what you are mentioning.

I think they kind of give you two shots at it - last time I was emailed a code for the private sale and then I was mailed a card with another code for the public sale.

If you placed your order early in the sales, they probably would issue another code for you to entice you to buy more - that's what happened to me last time.

May as well post my fit info

I wear 9.5E or 10D on Barrie (I have wide feet)

I wear 10D in the wingtip (on the recommendation of an SA), the shoe started very snug and evolved into one of my best fitting cordovan

I got the 10D in the penny, the shoe feels very similar to how the wingtip felt earlier, snug but no real pain when walking, I expect this to fit like a glove soon

IMO, for some reason, the Marlows "break in" (i.e. mold to your feet) a bit more than Aldens

Could someone with access to the pre-private sale help me out with a proxy service?

When I search for 'cordovan' on the RL site, I only see the wingtip, tassel loafer and penny loafer.

Yes, I had to get the PTB's at the store. It's a different last than the 325 though so the fit is different than the Wings..

I know this has been mentioned here before but there has been a nagging question in my mind - is it wider, taller, longer? If I'm a 12D in the PTB, should I go 12D in wings as well?

I am told it is on the 341 last, much like the ashdown from C&J. I could have sworn I read somewhere on here that the 341 fits a bit tighter than the 325, but I can't find the thread again. Can anyone verify this?

^^ 341 is sleeker than 325..When I tried the PTB, I find it to be different than the Wingtip(325); but I would not say the PTB is 341. I could be wrong, since I have a couple of 341 lasted shoes.
