It would probably only work if you have a bit of room in the length in the Barrie. But as you say, might be worth a try.

    Yes.

Beatleguese, 12d is your best bet. 11.5 would be too short and 12.5, too wide

the C&J for RL have never fit me right, I have tried the blucher, the wingtip, and the loafer, in various combos and I can't seem to get comfortable in any

I think it's b/c they run slightly narrow and my best fit is 8.5 E in "tts" lasts, so either the vamp feels tight in 8.5D or the 9D is too long.

I wear 9D in the C&J for BB shell boot, and I think that is fine b/c a boot can be slightly large and still be ok.

anywho I ordered 8.5D and 9D in this boot, I'm not super optimistic but we'll see if either works.

thanks everyone...I'm gonna go for the 12D, hopefully it works out! I have a very tiny bit of room in the Barrie with my 12C, so hopefully the Marlow is just the right size.

Probably going to end up grabbing some Lindricks this sale cycle. Does anyone know if any RL stores still carry Mccallums? I tried asking the one in Beverly Hills near me but the associates I spoke with had no idea what I was talking about.

I love the Marlow wingtip and the Lindrick. D-width shoes don't love my EEE-width feet though.

    Tant pis.

Pardon if this has been discussed before*: Why did RL change the name from Darlton to Marlow given that they are practically the same shoes?

*Since SF switched to the new format, I have been less than diligent in keeping track of the latest development.

^ I was wondering the same thing myself...I always thought they were the Darlton, but now they're listed online as the Marlow.

I called a couple stores and found one near me that had it in stock in a 12D, and I was able to get the 40 + 15 discount...I just need to hope that they fit now. I got a little nervous, thinking I missed the boat, because I checked online and they only showed a 9D and 13D in stock. But, the store I called had my size in their inventory. So, if you check online for something you want and it's out of stock in your size, just call a store and they may have it in stock :D

This is my first pair. I fell in love with them as soon as I saw them - I figured if I am going to do it, do it right.

Heads up, they're sold out of a lot of sizes for the Lindrick boots. If you're thinking about picking up a pair, you should probably do it sooner rather than later.

If you call one of the RL stores they may have it in stock even if it's sold out online - I was able to get the Marlow wingtip even though my size was sold out on the website.

They didn't carry them at all at the San Francisco location and they weren't particularly helpful. Ended up calling NY, where an SA called around to no avail - going to test a half size up and return/offer up to SF if they don't fit.
