    Thanks man. I brushed them before wearing but once I took a few steps, they began to bloom. I was actually considering the wingtip so tomorrow for sure.

    +1 on this, I fucking hate it. This never happens on BB C&J made shoes though.

    Ditto here. One of my Lindrick insoles caught my foot on the way out and peeled a bit on the first wear. Yes, I'm serious.

    I think we need to start a new thread on this topic... because I also have the same issue.

    I suppose I could just take them to a cobbler and have them glue the insoles down.

    Yes, I've wondered if simply using rubber cement or something will do the trick.

    Yeah, pretty sure this is a widespread issue. The peeling issue occurred on the my very wear to try on the boot. Shitty glue job on these.

    has anyone tried using wax or polish to darken a two-tone cordovan shoe? my lindricks are slightly lighter in the vamp

    You might try Allen Edmonds' brown shell cordovan cream. AE's Strands are made of the same brown shell used by C&J for these shoes... so should be roughly the same shade.
