Some things take time to appreciate, maybe I'm just not "there" on PTBs yet.

what about these?

imo, a toecap would break the lines.

I'm no cobbler but I don't think that's possible. You would have to remove the original sole and slap on a double.

for sure.

XXX-post: Islander, I did return a size 11.5 pair. Issue with vamp being two different colors
Great photo, I think my wingtips have the vamp issue with the lighter color.... May need to try and polish them with some dark brown to even them out a bit.....

did anyone get the sanderson suede wingtips?

I have those from a previous sale. I like them, but they don't get much wear because I prefer my Peal plain toe Repello suedes. I am pretty sure the Sanderson is the AE Players Shoe? Runs a little narrow.

I'm halfway there with the Lindrick and the PTB, and I seriously considered adding the Wingtip and Penny. This picture made me thing about the "one shoe"; maybe it's more like a one-family shoe.

I benched the ptbs. Back in the box they went. Just kept having too many issues pairing them with my outfits. odd shoe, imo. Sleek last, 360 welt, no design, meh

Anybody looking to trade a pair of NIB 8.5D Marlow Loafers for my pair of NIB 9D Marlow loafers straight up? Was going to give them to my brother but turns out 9's are too large for him as well.
