1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I am also interested in a new pair of Marlows, preferably the wingtip, but penny may also work. I am a 9.5D in most everything (Aldens, etc), except I wear a 10 in most athletic shoes. I think the 9.5D would work in the Wingtip. I pm'd edubs, but if anyone else has a line I'd be interested. Thanks.

As was said a page or so back, send a message to member "edubs01". He can obtain them for that price (plus applicable sales tax, where necessary, and shipping charges).

It may have been deleted if the content was only pitching something you have for sale. There are subtler ways to do that...

Bummer. Thanks anyway Edubs. If anyone else has a suggestion, please PM me. I have been hoping for a pair of those to fall into my lap for a while now.

Wore my Lindricks today while getting a haircut. These were my first and currently only pair of shell shoes. I need more cordovan in my life.

Very nice choice today, Mike. Are those Alden flat waxed laces? My original C&J laces are fraying, and I never really liked how they look anyway.

Yes sir! They are the Alden flat wax laces. I really like the appearance of the flat wax laces on boots in general.

    +1

I put Alden flat wax laces in nearly all my high boots, regardless of maker.

I don't know if things have changed since I last tried on the Marlow PTB last year, but they are/were available in stores only. You should call around and find out.

Not to get off-topic, but Carmina have made a great cigar cordovan plain-toe blucher for a couple of stockists such as Gentlemen's Footwear and Skoaktiebolaget.

    Example here:

Nice! I don't think I've ever seen anyone in Aldens, C&J, etc. in LA before. Are those RRL officer chinos?

For some reason the Carmina lasts just don't do look as nice.
