Would it be correct to assume the boots in any given last run slightly larger than the same lasted shoe? That seemed true Marlow vs Lindrick but not too sure about 341, 240 and others.. Either way the construction is superb for this price range. Tanks ..

Ralph Lauren Shell Cordovan Gianni with some new RRL selvedge chinos:

    Sizing info (tts12d):

    Alden 11.5 Barrie
    Alden 12 Aberdeen
    Carmina UK11 Rain
    Carmina UK11.5 Alcudia/Simpson
    EG UK11.5
    CJ RL Penny 12D
    CJ RL Tassel 11.5
    CJ RL WIngtip 11.75
    CJ RL Lindrick 11.5

CJ RL Gianni - ordered size 11.5 and they fit loose with a dress sock. I have a size 11 coming in tomorrow so I might size down. Will report back when size 11 comes in. I have a feeling I might settle for the 11 and try to break them in. If you have a wider foot, take your alden barrie size. If youre slightly on the narrow size you may need to size 1 size down from your actual size.

Looking good NAMOR, I get mine on Friday. I chose to go down a size after reading this thread.

sounds good mike. size down from your actual size, lindrick or....?

boots def fits a little large, perhaps so they can be worn with a thicker sock. but because boots are often typically worn in colder climates, id prefer to size down and wear with thin sock, since my feet wont swell in the winter as they do in summer. i also live in california and poor weather does not factor into my decision at all

I knew you were. I just wanted to see how far you would go with the bit.

Giannis are looking amazing. The RL site really didn't give me a good idea of how the toe rounds. Like many pointed out, the boot looked (on the website) like a "refined Indy." These shots, however, take it out of the same class as the Indy in my mind. It can definitely be dressed up a good deal more.

Namor -- appreciate the sizing info. I have a narrow foot and it sounds like I would need to go a full size down. That will have to be next time this opportunity comes around (if ever). I held out this time, having just picked up around 8 pairs of shoes/boots in the last few months.

Agree with this. I stayed my Lindrick/Barrie size as the Gianni will be worn with thicker socks and/or possibly a Tacco leather insole.

Went down from my tts and Marlow size. Yeah, I live in SoCal and so weather is the furthest thing from my mind typically.

Meh, it seems that the last of the Indy in most cases are more casual than the Gianni IMO.

This is spot-on. Sadly, it seems like the boot runs 3/4 of a size big.

The boots would look odd with any traditional suit, but could fit in appropriately with a sportscoat and on down.
