    Cheap is not always better.

Besides sometimes it's better to spend a little more and get the one you want.

+1 Totally agree sir. Beautiful boots! Which makeup are they? Coniston or Harlech maybe?

    Thank you.

I bought these Islays from Barneys.

I wasn't aware that Islays could be bought in a Coniston or Harlech makeup???

dddrees, your very welcome sir. From the picture on my iPhone I was just guessing as to which boot they were. Ah, the Islays. James Bonds boot of choice in Skyfall I believe. Coniston because I saw a pic of one today, and Harlech because I think that'll be my next C&J acquisition. You've got some very nice boots there. Where them in good health!

Ah, well my picture wasn't the best either.

    Thank you.

+1. I think if I was wearing these, the closest to civilization I would want to get would be the Isle of Islay.

Thought I'd ask one last time. I'm heading back to Soiffer Haskin today to proxy some Cordovan Rhett Loafers for people (assuming they have the desired sizes left). If anyone else wants in on the action let me know ASAP. Retail is $850 and should be able to get them out to people for $300 including shipping.

I'm 90% positive they have the red & blue webbing as pictured below.

Nice patena on your wingtips bucksfan. Even on someone else's feet the Marlows look fantastic, especially with those argyles.

    Rhetts are great.
I know they also made a version with grey and I think blue webbing and one with green and blue.
Fit is the same as the Marlow penny.

Do they only carry penny loafers at SH? Or do they have ptb and other styles as well?
