1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

There are a variety of factors that complicate the fit of the Marlows.

They are bluchers, larger heel pocket in the rear and fairly wide fore foot. I ended up going TTS, and after about three months of bi or tri weeky wear, the double oak soles have broken in. I have a fairly low instep, so I needed a tongue pad as well.

My Marlows are lightening as well, even with only wearing in the office.

To me, lindricks run the same size wise as the darlton wingtips. I sold my lindricks and am looking for some darltons in 9d. I have thin ankles and have come to the realization after many tries that boots are not for me. I like to be able to bend my ankles, and the stiffness of boots aren't comfortable for me.

The Lindrick is slightly bigger than the Marlow. While many can go tts with the marlow, I would strongly recommend that you NOT go tts with the Lindrick... half size down usually work well for most, but I suppose not all.

A little late on this, but those Yoox boots look to be a boot version of the old McMurray. Made in Italy, and they were around $700. Definitely branded RL and not Polo. Kind of a distressed leather and rubber soles.

But really came here to comment on this.. anyone looked at the email from this morning advertising new chino fits? Click on "compare fit" and look at what shoes the models are wearing - all different versions of the Marlow. I got a kick out of that.

I can't imagine anyone would pay full price for those from the website, but if you can still get that 30% + 10% off during their sale, you can pick those up for a pretty decent price.

I'm not surprised, but thanks for letting us know

I would think they're a pretty popular boot.
I would imagine there are a good deal of people who pay full retail.

Not everybody is aware of these sales, and after all it is a real nice looking boot.

I should amend my statement to say "I can't imagine any SFer would pay full retail for these :)"

When are the sales, and what do I need to get 30% and 10% off?
Is most sizes available? I am a 8.5 UK in C&J.

Typically at the beginning of the sale they'll have almost a full range of sizes available. However that may mean one or few pairs for certain sizes. I surely wouldn't wait to long, because they go fairly fast. The sale itself will be for 30%, but if you purchase something and then complete a survey the next item you purchase you can get an additional 10% of with the code you received from the first purchase.

The dude is from Sweden. Those bizrate codes aren't going to do him any good.
His best bet is to wait for the private sale and contact Dastig or some other SA.
I don't know if they ship international from the stores.
