mikeyc29, your ankles scared me there...

good move with the dark brown creme, that will definitely darken the shell. ive used it on my shoes and with good results. you could also try leaving the darker shoe out in the sun for weeks at a time and they will lighten up.

see the drastic change here: http://yolowastaken.tumblr.com/post/23149736041/effects-of-extended-periods-of-light-on-shell

What's wrong with my ankles man ? Lol haha jk. That is my heel and that's actually the plantar surface of my foot. I have pretty flat feet as you can see.

Yeah but from your previous post your shoes look flawless. Did you have this issue as well ? What did you use ? Or what products do you currently use ?

Perhaps you can try leaving the darker shoe under the sun...or maybe artificial light.

Doesn't hurt to experiment.

On my Bradford shell there are few different shades in different places. Specially on the left shoe cap is way lighter than the rest of the shoe. You don’t really see them in picture mainly due to light .
My tassel at the rear seam it shows 2 different shades. And I am wearing my rl penny left shoe is noticeably lighter than right. It doesn’t really bother me.
My PTB is in perfect condition. But I haven’t worn that pair as yet. For me c&j shell gets lighter with age. My PTB is as dark as it gets.
Alden and other shell shoes seems to have a waxy finish on them and they have uniform color.

Lindrickizzzy comparison

1000

1000

Carmina Adelaide in Cognac (Alcudia), Crockett & Jones Lindrick in Brown Shell (325), Alden Indy in Cigar Shell (Trubalance) and Alfred Sargent Miller Boot in Cognac Shell (724)

Alcudia is pretty damn narrow. I went down 1 size in the Alcudia but if I had to do it again I would only size down 1/2 size. For reference, Carmina is a size UK11, Lindrick is size us11.5, Indy is size us11.5, AS UK11

I've seen these but the buckle just seems too big in proportion to the rest of the shoe; otherwise, trust me, I'd own them already.

daaaawwwwg, negotiate a cheaper price with the seller, put that money towards a sleeker buckle. baaaam

Put mine on the other day promptly took off as it was so dry and I'm too lazy to Reno anything let alone brush more than 5 seconds

Just realize I never responded you book trip yet?
