FFS....someone at RL must've seen this conversation lol.. smart
I'm impressed - both with the stock/prices and that you used my Lindrick picture!
I noticed price increases on several other sale items at the same time that I got their Winter Sale email. The sale that ended a few days ago was 20% (I think) off all sales items; the current sale is 30% off on select items. So it essentially means that they've raised prices on a bunch of stuff.
lol i just did a google image search yours looked best!
As a public service announcement, I'm posting here the difference in fit between the Marlow penny and tassel loafers. It turns out it's true that you should size down half a size from the penny to the tassel, but beware to all with non-narrow feet that the last on the tassel loafer is significantly narrower that that on the penny. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words:
In these photos, the penny is size 10D and tassel is 9.5D. Notice that length-wise they're about the same.
With that, if you're a size 10D in the Marlow penny, expect to see a pair of 9.5D tassels in the B&S soon.
Got some Marlow wingtips. C&J's finish is improving (next to Aldens LWB on the L and Alfred Sargent Miller on the R)!
Man this thread died. Lindricks on the beach
^ no sales :tounge:
Here are mine:
In fact I doubled up on the Lindricks.
they look almost identical
Double the fun!
They do, but at the time I needed some black boots, and they were on sale for less than half the normal price.
Not that much different than some people getting different shell colors of Alden boots or John Lobb monks.
That's what I figured anyway.
