1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

or half size down. That is the debate in this thread. TTS works for some and half size down works for others.

Right, I don't think there is a definitive answer.

By the way, sort of an odd question, do anyone have a spare pare of the original shoe lace for the Marlow Wingtip that they're willing to sell. Just bought a used wingtip marlow from someone on SF, and turns out he didn't have the original shoelace..., went to the C&J store in Manhattan, they say they don't have it in stock at the moment either (they have something that looks more like waxed tweed, i.e. more country than my liking).

PM me if you have one and willing to part it, I will pay...

Although not cordovan, these longwings are made by C&J:

    Wilberforce Wingtip

I love the arch nails on the sole. Nice detail.

I always thought the Wilberforce was Cheaney.

I wouldn't waste my time with them. IMO, they're not great laces and you can probably do better with laces from Allen Edmonds or a good shoe repair store like VIP Shoe Restorers.

there is a used one with starting bid at 250, I would take that instead (assuming it's someone's size...). Marlow's price does take quite a beating compare to used Alden though, and looks like Marlow's PTB price is generally speaking cheaper than Marlow wingtip as well.
