Crockett & Jones: Are the sizes on the boot in US or UK sizing???

Ok, this is probably a very foolish question... but I honestly can't figure out the answer.

I have a nice pair of Coniston Boots by Crockett and Jones that I am selling, and I don't know if they are a size 11.5 UK or 11.5 US. The markings inside the boots simply say:

11 1/2 D


Does anyone know if Crockett and Jones letters some boots in US sizing, or is everything just in UK sizing across the board?

If there's a 'D' at the end, it's US sizing.

The UK uses different letters for sizing. The UK size for that shoe would be 10.5/11E

D=Standard width in the US
E=Standard Width in UK
