Hi, I received my Hallum C&J from Plal a few days ago and noticed something weird inside the shoe. The heel part of the shoe is covered by a leather sole with the C&J logo (in the inside of the shoe), but then right after the heel part it stop and a hard leather/almost cork/woody sole is replaced. It almost looks as if the leather sole is missing in the inside. Can someone confirm if this is just the C&J style?

That's just the normal insole. No reason to worry.

Don't believe them! Its damaged and beyond repair. If it's UK 9.5 I'd get them from you at half the price.

J/K... happy wearing, those are fine.

Some shoes have a full insole, some have a half insole.
Nothing to worry about.

The Hallams are a lovely pair of shoes - enjoy wearing them!

Hi,

As everyone else says: this is the norm to the extent that when I list, I have no problem stating these are fully lined as most customers want to know if the upper is fully lined or what the upper is lined with.

Handgrade shoes (such as the "Audley" that I currently have listed

) have a full insole.

I actually prefer the half insole as I fall into the camp that 'feel' (rather than know) that it aids the wicking of perspiration.

Regards,

Graham
