Recently bought a couple of pairs of these, benchgrade
Drummond last 348
Arden last 341
I normally apply shoe cream, then buff with a clean, cloth, then a brush
The shoes are superb quality, however the leather feels 'grainy' rather than smooth (if that makes sense). I think they are full grain leather.
As a consequence, the cream doesn't seem to stick to the leather and after one days wear the shoes look quite tired
Should I use a traditional wax polish on top of the cream?
