Sorry for the 7 large pictures to scroll through below but I thought it might make it easier. In order they are 1. Front, unbuttoned 2. Front, buttoned, 3. Front, buttoned, with arms a little out so it's easier to see the jacket body, 4. Side, 5. Back, 6. Front, "at attention" 7. Some kind of pose.
I'll say my thoughts here (so that you can then tell me how wrong I am
).
Pants: fine, if a little baggy (but I am not disposed to very slim pants).
Jacket: I have three concerns: in the back, the flap that is between the vents seems to take on a wavy shape (perhaps this is unavoidable?); in the upper back, it looks like there is extra fabric in the armpit areas, and almost looks as if the shoulders are too wide though it doesn't look that way to me in the front; and in the front, the lapels tend to bow outwards, as you can really see in picture #6 where I am making a conscious effort throw my shoulders up and back (in the other pics I am doing my best to stand naturally). That last one is actually the main thing I am worried about, and I think it keeps me from buttoning the jacket a lot--actually it used to be worse but some adjustments were made after I went back. Aside from these issues it looks fine to me, I'm not looking for a super-tailored look, just something that looks like it fits well. The suit is a first order from Mr. Ned in NYC. I'm looking for feedback both on: are there things I should try to get changed on this one; and, if I was to order a second, what would I be looking to come out differently. Thanks in advance.
