I love this shoes, I like that the sole border is not seen and it´s style

http://www.paulsmith.co.uk/shoes-217...roductId=15650

But I prefer a taller heel as this. But they look like Dr Martens... and border are seen.

http://www.paulsmith.co.uk/shoes-217...roductId=15616

Could I take the other ones to change the heel for ones like this model?

What do you thing about PS shoes? My size is out of stock, Does it means that they were winter season and spring ones are like to come out soon?

Thanks

I like them---though it would be easier to pull off the purple laces if you are <30

What do you mean with 30? I´m about 31 yes tomorrow it´s my birthday. Of course I won´t wear those purple laces, I like them in fucsia

If you're going to go with a thin Italian shoe, the Blake/Rapid construction (as this shoe has) is generally better than Blake construction, but still not so easy to resole.

I own a pair of Starr's, which have similar construction, and have generally been pretty happy with them. The Starr's have a shorter heel like the first pair you show, and I have found them to be very comfortable. They are certainly not as durable as my AE's or Loakes. If you get some, I wouldn't consider them a long-term investment.

PS by Paul Smith aren't as nice as mainline but aren't bad. Look for them on sale.
If you don't use the purple laces, why even go with Paul Smith?

Per RIDER, Blake/Rapid shoes are the easiest ones to re-sole, so they would be easier to re-sole than Goodyear welted shoes.

Me neither, I know they are not like the Vass ones you love here. I own like 5 pairs. If I wear it one or two seasons is enought. fashion victim or show fan?

Their sales on their own stores aren't that good but you can find good deals in department stores.
