The shirt and tie will be different and there will be a pocket square. Looking for comments on jacket fit. Anyone think it could do with a tad more waist suppression?

maybe a tad but you don't want to be uncomfortable. Chances are there'll be a lot of hugging or whatever. imagine lifting the veil and the whole jacket jerks up with you! Looks good, congrats!

slightly short for the occasion... a little boring too. Could use more waist suppression. I know that for my wedding I'll probably at least be wearing a 3 piece suit to jazz it up a little. Who says everyone should be looking at the bride

I think that you might bring it in just a touch on your right side. Left side looks pretty much fine to me. How are the shoulders? Looks like maybe the left shoulder could be brought in just a touch (if so, you might have to lengthen the sleeve), but this is pretty nit picky.

Bringing in a shoulder isn't a simple tailoring job...

Looks good. I went with a similar gray (though understated glenplaid) for my wedding. I went with a little more waist suppression, but I wouldn't spend too much time worried about it. As long as you look well put together, no one will even notice you're even wearing a suit, which is as it should be

Looks good! I'd take in the waist and clean up the back under the armpits a bit. Also, seems you need to press the lower back side and the vents.

I like how they look on you.

Great job.

By the way, what is wrong with those shirt and tie combination? Is it too ordinary for your wedding?

Suit fits well. If you get the waist taken in, avoid wearing a belt. It'll break the silhouette of the jacket.

I think it's just about perfect as far as fitting goes. That said, you should be dressing for a wedding not a business meeting (grey/blue tie).

He said he will be wearing a different shirt and tie and a pocket square. I don't quite get the "boring" comments. I think that for an occassion like this there is nothing more elegant than a dark suit.

Thanks for the comments, everyone. In regard to the bland/boring comments, I see your point, but things will be a bit spruced up with my white shirt lavender grenadine tie combo and pocket square I plan to wear. At least I hope.

Saw that too. There's a bit of creasing on the back under your armpit.
