Ok the first two links are KMW 1950's and the second two are 5EP LDB resin, both size 30. I can see the 1950's aren't working that well with the Brandos. Should I exchange for the 2010's or 5EP LDB Dark Worns, or maybe LDB in the raw?? I like the fit better on the 5EP, but I really want the Mules to work; the quality is unbelievable.

i like the fit on the 5eps better. the mules look a size too big. i'd either exchange em or hot soak them if you havent done so already and see how they are after.

I bought them at Revolve last week, so I can exchange them easily. I'm thinking about the 2010's, as I wear boots quite a bit. I think the 29's would be too tight in the top block and KMW doesn't stretch like some other brands.

the 5ep's fit you way better. just get them hemmed a little to prevent the stacks from going all the way up your crotch and you'll be dandy!

I'm not feeling the whole stacking thing, I can only see it working with really skinny jeans, and even then... Cuff or hem those and I'll bet they look good, all that extra length would make the worlds best fitting jeans look totally wrong.

You know what, I think the KMWs look pretty good actually... so do the 5EP but IMO they need to be hemmed, that's a clean jean that shouldn't have too much stacking IMO. The 1950s you could stack a bit but not at full length...

You know what, I think a lot of that stacking is because the small-ish hem on the Mules is "bottoming out" fairly high up the shaft of the Fryes. I don't they'll stack that much with sneakers. They're def not the right jean for those boots.

do the kmw's have a smallish hem? I thought they were like an "interpretation" repro.

I say go with KMW and get them hemmed. Lately I have not been feeling the whole stacking deal, maybe gonna get my rockers hemmed.

I think you're quite right. The mules dont look right with the boots. Lets see a pic of the mules with sneakers

5eps LDB have the effect of being tapered below the knee which is something I really like about them. The kmws are more true straight all the way down. And I agree they dont look right with those particular boots, probably better with more of smaller shoe. kmws and boots = too cowboy-ish of a look for me.

5eps look great with sneaks or boots.

KMWs stretch notoriously? I didn't know that. Could someone else with experience please chime in. I just bought a pair of 1980s and they fit great now. I was really hoping that they wouldn't stretch too much.
