Here's a new gray flannel suit from Thick as Thieves and a new wool/cashmere overcoat from mytailorstore. What do you think?

The sleeve lengths aren't as wonky as they look in that first pic. I was standing funny or something.

Did not take a pic of the electric blue lining. Alas.

Would prefer more open quarters and I can see visible stitchings at the rear end of your jacket.

I'm very new to the styleforum, however it seems to me that the coat sleeves are oddly short. It could be the lighting in the final picture, but it also seems that the coat is a tad too tight around your posterior

Jacket looks like it could stand to be taken in a bit at the waste/hips, it appears to be hanging significantly away from your midsection in the profile view.

And a question: how much cuff should be visible with an overcoat?

Caveat: the TAT style is not for me. That said, I think fuller cut trousers would work better. This suit looks top heavy. The trousers have fallen down quite a bit in the overcoat shots. Braces are your friend.

None. The OP's shirt sleeves are too long as well as the overcoat sleeves probably being too short.

it does not particuarly flattering, at all.

as noted above, the front of the suit jacket is standing away (though I dont think this is due to lack of suppresion but to an ill balanced coat)

This will be of little value to you now but I don't think the TaT style suits you.

the suit and coat looks to be nice pieces, however I would venture to say that perhaps the suit is a little too modern looking in comparison to the shoes shown (and perhaps eyewear?). If you do feel confident in the clothes then go ahead and wear it, something should be done to have the suit jacket tailored closer to your body though as seen from the side. The topcoat looks well fitted IMO, probably too slim to wear a suit jacket underneath but that's how mine are so I can't critique. Let us know what you decide to do with these items (tailor, return, etc...) thanks!

p.s. as a osteopathic medical student, it seems like you may have a bit of scoliosis, which when your body is compensating causes one of your shoulders to be higher than the other, and this may also lead to one of the sleeves appearing shorter than the other even though they are equal lengths on the jacket. I am sure there has been discussion about MTM clothing somewhere here that discusses how custom clothing can reduce the look of these asymmetries. I've never had any experience with MTM so I can't be of help there, it's just a suggestion of something to look into if you find yourself dissatisfied with RTW pieces.

I thought it was a balance issue as well but both the front and back of the jacket are pulling away?! Something funky going on ... I don't know that those thin lapels work for you.

You appear to stand more on your left leg and lean to the left in most of the photos. That may explain the sleeves.
