Sorry for yet another sportcoat length thread but I came across a RLPL cashmere at a great price but I couldn't decide which length looked better on me so I bought both.

The first one is R and 2nd is L. Which should I keep? I'm leaning toward R. I like my sportcoats a little on the short side.

Post pics from the back. If you like 'a little on the short side' then go with R.

Long, it flatters your height.

With the shots you've posted I prefer the long, but it's hard to say without seeing the back.

The length isn't the real issue. The shoulders and closed quarters make them both look really wonky. Also--forgive my ignorance of the correct technical terms--it looks like both jackets are drawn back over your shoulders, particularly in the case of the long jacket. Look at the front quarters: the angle of the hems are parallel to the ground.

I lied, the long.

I think the shoulders are too wide.

Having seen the back, I now say the long for sure.

Lower buttoning point, re-shaped quarters, fixed shoulders.
