You can flash your personal style as much as you want during 'last call', but not a good call for a job interview. The jacket lining is pretty outlandish, unless you're applying for a 'creative' position. If it's a position that requires a college degree, it probably won't fly.

It amazes me that some posters in this thread could not pick up on the obvious sarcasm and humor of the original post.

Incredible.

I thought my straight response was funnier than the OPs query. Most people thought I was serious.

If you don't have confidence that the eggs and pickles will have the desired result, you can invest in some "Morning Breeze Perfume" - http://www.easleys.com/morningbreezeperfume.aspx Trust me, it works. It really is a foul foul odor. It's a small investment for peace of mind. Good luck, knock 'em dead!

Fix the knot so there's a good buttcrack, and don't forget to practice your handshake. The introductory handshake is your chance to show that you won't back down from a challenge. I'll also second the the Ed Hardy undershirt. It will demonstrate that even though respect the time honored traditions (white dress shirt), you aren't victim to paradigm paralysis.

I think you were serious, and you're trying to cover your ass with your second post.

Bring the humidor with you into the interview. It shows you are a man of refinement and taste. Offer the man performing the interview a cigar. If it is a woman, offer her gum or a breath mint. Either way, feel free to light up a cigar yourself. If the interviewer says, "What are you doing? There's no smoking in here." Simply reply with a casual, "screw you." This will show that you mean business. I am confident you will be hired on the spot with a salary in the low to mid six-figures, even if the position is entry level.
