Don't worry about the huge feet thing. Seriously, it's not as big a deal as people make it out to be. It's more of a fear than something that actually is a visible problem. Also, tapered doesn't mean super small where you can't fit them over your shoes. You should really try giving them a try next time you're in a place where you can try stuff on. I'm a size 31-32 and 7.5-8" are really good hem widths. It more gives the illusion of a straight leg than it does make your shoes look big. Plus, if there is an inch or two of tasteful stacking than it helps it from actually looking tapered at all. My PBJ005s are straightleg and an 8" at the knee and hem and actually look kinda slight bootcut, while my J. Lindenbergs are slightly tapered to about 7.5-7.75" at the hem and give a nicer overall silhouette for me at least. The PBJs are still my preferred jean but the fit on me at least is a little less fashionista and more casual/western/americana

I agree, I dont think its a big deal. I mean if you wear some extremely chunky shoes, that will enhance it, but any regular shoes should look allright.

for me personally atleast, its not something I notice on people often, I think its more of a personal thing you might notice on yourself.

indeed. Looking straight down at your feet is the most common and also the most awkward angle from which to see your feet (either they'll look too clowny, or too dainty, or too blobby, etc), but its also the only angle that will almost never be seen by anyone but you. put a mirror on the floor and look at your profile in that.

for jeans that would probably fit great on you (and very reasonably priced), you can get H&M raw sliqs for $40, if you have an H&M in your area... despite what everyone says about h&m, the sliqs are pretty okay.
