Original thread here: http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?t=197412 Sorry if a new thread is not the protocol, but I just wanted a clean slate. --- I just got my remake. Here are the results. Pant alterations: Waist: -1 inches Pant's Hips: -0.5 inches The waist is perfect but now the thighs are a little tight. It seems like they not only took in the hip area but the thighs as well. I feel like I'm going to rip the pants if I sit down. I will probably get the thigh area taken out a bit.

Jacket alterations: Shoulders: -0.5 inches Chest: -0.5 inches Jacket Length: +1.25 inches Sleeve Length: -0.5 inches

Is the jacket still too short? It is a little longer now. It feels like the waist area on the jacket is roomy.

Excuse the wrinkles, I just took the suit out of the box. Thanks in advance for the critiques! Much appreciated.

The seat of your pants seem to be trying to hide.

And the jacket looks 2" too short.

Shoes can make an outfit......and those don't!

I was gonna ask what's up with the Ralph Kramden shoes, but...

If there is a way for you to get them to lengthen the jacket, I think you'll be set with this suit. Congrats on taking this step.

Remakes are free and unlimited, IIRC.

The jacket makes you look real fat...

Yes yes.. I realize my shoes are terrible. I agree completely. I grabbed a pair quickly at the time and didn't want to go barefoot (but barefoot would probably have been better)
Please try to look past them and critique the suit and not the shoes please.

Damn. Really still too short??
I was worried that the suit was still too short! I asked them to make it 1.25 inches longer than before. I will have to measure and compare the suits to make sure they did indeed do that.
Remakes are free for indochino but I have to ship the previous suit back.

I agree. You don't have the body type for a short jacket. It's not flattering for you. Get that taken care of, and you have yourself a decent looking suit.

The pants definitely need to be fixed in the rear. They are bunching up a significant amount.

You probably would have been better buying something OTR and tailoring it. The whole cut and proportions seem entirely off, as if IC took what could have been a decent looking suit and messed it up with your specific measurements.
