Well, I finished getting the jacket altered and I am pretty happy with it... what do you guys think?

I think it's too tight around the quarters, they are being pulled open.

Looks too long for you. Is it an R, L or S? How tall are you?

I don't think this works on you but can't really tell why. The sleeves also appear to be quite full (your wrists seem to float at the cuff)

I'm 5-10, the jacket is a 38R and I normally wear a 40R

I'm no expert, but it looks to me like it's a good overall fit, and the shoulders look fine. If anything, the sleeves look a little off. Maybe it's just creases or something, but perhaps the sleeves could be tapered just a tad and maybe shortened a little as well? But all in all a very nice jacket.

Puzzling. I'll let others with a better i-tailor eye weigh in but fit just doesn't look very good to me.

Well, I guess the shoulders fit correctly, that was what I was mainly concered about. I think it's the way that I am holding my arm that is making the jacket appear to long? or something else? I thought the length looked fine when I tried it on.

The shoulders look very good to me, but then I like snug shoulders on my jackets.

It does look a little long to me, as I believe that the general rule is that the bottom of the jacket should come to the bottom of your bottom (so to speak) or, in other words, be level with the crotch of your trousers. From your photo, the jacket seems to be longer than that.

The length looks fine to me, it's exaggerated because of the tightness of the jacket and the wearers lack of hips.

Are you standing kinda funny in the picture or have a shorter right arm? I feel like you're leaning to your right side and that can affect the way we percieve fit.

Actually, I think it looks pretty decent. I don't see anything that's necessarily wrong about the shoulder fit. I think the length is about right, too. Why don't you get a picture of yourself standing normally, with arms relaxed at your sides?

+1 I can't tell why either...I'm tempted to say that it's the cut of the jacket. It just seems off.
